Parking Information

All 500+ Parking spaces are a very short distance from the main doors of the terminal. 

Baggage carts are available for your convenience.

Access to Vehicle Rental Services is also available.

Short Term Rates 

Short Term Rate: $0.50 for each 10 minute period up to an hour.  

After an hour, $0.50 for each 15 minute period to a daily maximum of $39.00.

For vehicles left overnight, please make use of Long Term Parking or VIP Parking.

Long Term Rates 

Long Term Rate: Maximum Daily Rate $10.00 (GST and PST Included)

Weekly maximum of $70.00.

Long term parking offers over 100 electrical vehicle plug-ins.

If you are a frequent user, you may be interested in either a Quick Card or VIP Parking.

Quick Card Purchase 

The Quick Card Pass allows users to pre-purchase parking services for either short or long term use.  The card acts similar to a gift card.

Upon arrival to Thunder Bay, simply insert the Quick Card Pass at entry gate and then into the exit terminal when exiting and your applicable parking charges are automatically deducted from the balance on your card.  

Cards are refillable, convenient and save you the time of waiting to pay for parking prior to leaving at the indoor parking kiosk which often have long lines.

The Quick Card Pass also makes a great gift for fellow frequent users.

VIP Express Parking 

Thunder Bay International Airport is pleased to provide their brand new VIP PARKING.

Reserved, securely monitored VIP parking is located only steps away from the main entrance of the YQT Terminal.  Access to this area is only available to VIP users.

This service is ideal for frequent travellers.
